Hello and thank you for your interest in Texoma Tournaments! My name is Brad Dollar and I am the owner & primary Tournament Director for Texoma Tournaments. I graduated from Durant High School in 2003 and am a nine year veteran of the Marine Corps. My wife and I have two kids who are heavily involved in athletics and other activities so we are a very active family! Additionally, I have coached baseball for the last 7+ years and have learned many lessons along the way. Most importantly, that we adults are just a bit too competitive when it comes to youth sports. We need to support these kids more and just let them have fun!
Texoma Tournaments started as a way to get more tournaments in the Texoma area for local teams to have an avenue to play without having to travel to OKC or Dallas every weekend. After just a couple of events I found that I really enjoyed directing tournaments and set out to improve upon the simple, unsanctioned events that were put together in the Fall of 2019. By Spring of 2020 I received a call from Tim Campbell offering to provide sanctioning for our events. I saw this as a huge opportunity to legitimize the events we were offering and work toward growing into a more widely known service throughout North Texas and Oklahoma. In addition to joining PAC Sports I was offered a position as their State Director and, as you could imagine, I jumped at the opportunity. This new venture would allow me to further the Texoma Tournaments name while, at the same time, promoting and growing PAC Sports throughout the state!
Since joining PAC Sports, Texoma Tournaments has seen growth that I never could have expected. We began hosting in Atoka, Oklahoma but have since expanded to several other cities including Broken Bow, Durant, Denison, and Chickasha. By Spring of 2021 we plan to also host events in Ada, Ardmore, McAlester, Midwest City, Moore, OKC, and more. Additionally, we have begun to offer leagues to local cities looking to establish a premiere league or improve upon the league(s) they may already have. After serving on an OK Kids Baseball board for the last 2.5 years I know, first hand, how disorganized and underwhelming local leagues can be. Because of that fact and the desire to expand upon what I can offer with Texoma Tournaments, I stepped down from my position on the local OK Kids board after the 2020 season concluded.
I am now able to focus my efforts on growing and improving upon the services that Texoma Tournaments and PAC Sports can offer for the area! We want to do this the right way and help our local youth have a much safer and enjoyable experience at the park. I believe things can always be improved upon and I am constantly seeking feedback on our events. So, with that, consider joining us for one event and I can guarantee you that we will see you again and again. The quality of our events is just unbeatable.
